Extended partnership for providing aircraft technical training
Temasek Polytechnic and Lufthansa Technical Training deepen their collaboration in providing high quality aircraft technical training in Singapore
Lufthansa Technical Training (LTT) and Temasek Polytechnic (TP) have signed an extension of their partnership agreement in providing aircraft technical training, first established in 2007, for another 5 years.
Over the last fifteen years, the synergetic alliance between both organizations has grown from strength to strength. Close to 4,000 students from TP's Diploma in Aerospace Engineering and Diploma in Aerospace Electronics have benefitted from this partnership as they are given the opportunity to undergo well-structured, practical oriented aerospace diploma programs.
LTT's world renowned technical training concepts and quality standards were incorporated as part of TP's aerospace diploma course structure. Under the new 5-year agreement, LTT and TP will jointly develop and offer industry relevant aircraft technical training courses for both local and overseas participants.
The contract was signed by Marc Wilken, Managing Director of Lufthansa Technical Training, and Peter Lam, Principal & CEO of Temasek Polytechnic on 22 February in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Marc Wilken said: "This contract extension is a success for both companies in the booming but highly competitive aviation training segment in Asia. We are therefore very proud that LTT has been chosen as a partner by Temasek Polytechnic."
Peter Lam added: "We are very pleased with the strong partnership built between LTT and TP over the last 15 years in providing quality, industry-relevant training for new entrants and professionals in the aerospace industry. TP looks forward to continue working closely with LTT to offer more innovative training courses to support the recovery and future growth of Singapore's aerospace industry."
