Female Network
"Excellence has no gender" is the motto of the Female Network by and for colleagues of the Lufthansa Technik Group. The community has set itself the task of giving a voice to the topic of diversity with a focus on gender equality within the company. With various event formats, the community encourages networking and knowledge exchange, among other things.
Daddy Network
The topics covered by the initiative range from balancing work and family life to parenting tips and organisational support. Originally launched by a group of fathers, our family network is a platform for all employees who want to exchange ideas on the subject of family and parenthood.
Lufthansa Sports Club
Trying out new sports - with friends and colleagues. The LSCs in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich and Cologne are the right place for this. In addition to the classics such as football, handball and volleyball, there are over 30 different sports, including smaller disciplines such as golf, skiing, paragliding and diving. Training, competitions and sports trips are all organised voluntarily by colleagues.
Help alliance
help alliance is the charitable organization of the Lufthansa Group and its employees. Together with local partners worldwide, it creates opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people by providing access to education, training, and career opportunities.
To this day, the heart of help alliance is the voluntary commitment of our employees. Whether in projects or communities, people come together here to take responsibility and make a difference beyond their day-to-day work.
Sustainability that drives us
We all share responsibility for the future of our planet. That’s why sustainability is firmly embedded in the way we think and act. Our goal is to make aviation and the MRO industry more sustainable step by step.
To achieve this, we rely on a range of approaches: with one of the most efficient production networks in the aviation industry, we continuously reduce our own environmental footprint. At the same time, we support our airline customers with innovative solutions such as AeroShark, Cyclean® Engine Wash, or AVIATAR Fuel Analytics, helping them reach their own sustainability goals. With our Hydrogen Aviation Lab, we are also already working today on the technologies of tomorrow, researching how hydrogen-powered aircraft could be handled and maintained in the future.
