An AOG situation is a worst-case scenario for you, but we know how to handle it! No matter where the AOG occurs – just give us a call and we will send you help quickly! One of our Airline Support Teams (AST®) will be sent directly to the location of the affected aircraft for on-site repairs. 

Whatever technical problem arises, operators can count on the performance of our AST® experts – around the globe and around the clock.

Our teams – experienced mechanics, engineers, material suppliers and inspectors – are working worldwide, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In most AOG-cases you will need spare parts. No problem for us: we also maintain a substantial pool of spares for both non-routine exchanges and planned overhauls. Logistics are handled by our subsidiary Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services which can deliver a spare whenever and wherever it is needed. In short: we do everything to get your aircraft back in the air while keeping the budget down to earth.

Consulting and assessment on-site

Good advice can save you money

Our AST® solutions also include consulting and assessment services on-site. To save you unnecessary overhaul expenditures, the next time you have your doubts about – for example – your aircraft's undercarriage or engine, you might consider calling our on-wing AST® experts first. These high-grade specialists can quickly determine whether the unit needs to be removed or whether the problems can be fixed on-site to help you avoid a costly overhaul.

Overhaul at home

Beyond classic on-site repairs, our mobile AST® specialists also support you with overhauls – for example, of nacelles – in alignment with a major airframe check. It can be performed either at one of our base maintenance stations or directly at your site. This approach eliminates transportation costs and lengthy turnaround times – and therefore offers significant savings.

Needless to say: any work on-site is done according to the standard of quality for which Lufthansa Technik is renowned.
