As the world's largest provider of technical support services for aircraft, Lufthansa Technik Group is more than just a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operation – the company is also certified by civil aviation authorities worldwide as a design and production organization. The parent company, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, has the technical facilities required to provide the complete range of technical services for commercial aircraft, including MRO services, airframe modifications, engine parts and accessories repair as well as painting services. In addition, Lufthansa Technik provides maintenance management services for fleets around the globe, and maintains a central inventory of parts and components for virtually all modern jet aircraft in operation today. 

Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey

With more than 20 years experience in MRO services for regional jet engines, Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey today is the leading independent service provider for CF34 and all types of PW100-series engines as well as PW901A APU's. Since 2005 Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey has been certified for PW150-series engines as well. The company is a General Electric and Pratt & Whitney Canada designated/authorized repair and overhaul facility. Approved by the FAA and EASA and many national authorities; Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey's services include engine overhaul and repair, hot section inspection, repair or refurbishment, repair and overhaul of wheels & brakes, and engine conversions. Just recently Pratt & Whitney Canada and Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey extended their exisitng agreement, which now also will cover the PW901C APU on Boeing 747-8 aircraft. 

Lufthansa CityLine

Lufthansa Cityline is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deutsche Lufthansa AG and a partner in the Lufthansa Regional concept. The airline's Maintenance & Engineering Team is highly trained and experienced. Prepared to keep its customer aircraft and fleet at a high level, Lufthansa CityLine offers products and services ranging from line maintenance to heavy maintenance, engineering services, propulsion repair and overhaul, component pool and MRO. The list of capabilities includes comprehensive engineering and maintenance planning support as well as tailored maintenance programs based on the manufacturers MRB but with added operator's experience adjusted to the specific customer needs.
