- Dr. Dietmar Strohmeyer (Airworthiness Management, Lufthansa Technik AG) & Jens Weinreich (Product Manager CAMO for Lessors, Lufthansa Technik AG): "Aircraft transitions – Challenges from CAMO perspective" - Complex aircraft transitions and aircraft repossessions typically require involvement of an EASA Part-M Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) when the aircraft is EU registered or intended to go on an EU register. Even in cases where EU registrations are not directly affected, support from a competent CAMO can change a disaster into a success story. In the light of the above, the intention of this presentation is to illustrate and provide background information on key aspects of such type of transitions from a CAMO perspective, ranging from operational aspects to new or in near future upcoming regulatory impacts.
