The Red Pig styles an Aircraft Cabin
Be legendary
The legendary racing car
translated into a VIP jet cabin
You know the "Rote Sau", or the "Red Pig", don't you? What a silly question! Certainly you do. But one thing might be new to you: The legendary hefty Mercedes racing car can also fly.
Decades ago, AMG turned the very big 300 SEL saloon with a 6.8-litre V8 motor into a touring car racer. The Red Pig finished first in its class and second overall in the 1971 "24 Hours of Spa" - legendary not only because of its performance, but especially because of its stunning appearance! All in all a perfect model for a breathtaking VIP jet cabin, we thought. So, here she is, our very special Mercedes AMG VIP jet cabin!
The aircraft cabin design radiates a strong masculine attraction by adapting the latest color and trim finish of the newest Mercedes AMG GT C. It mirrors the cutting-edge technology, exclusivity and performance of a Mercedes-AMG car. By integrating carefully selected and precisely embedded carbon fiber elements as well as a characteristic seat upholstery facelift the cabin design pays tribute to the Red Pig.
Black panels inspired by the typical dashboard design in Mercedes-Benz S-Class and AMG cars seem to float in front of the window, an effect generated by the discreet light corona. Innovative Mercedes-Benz Magic Sky technology allows the panels to be dimmed electrically from black to transparent. Let yourself be inspired and then ... on your mark, get set, go!
