Especially in the initial phase of operating a new type, dedicated material support is a major success factor. When it comes to merging the newest jet generation with existing fleets into one product, Lufthansa Technik is the ideal partner for worry-free operation of the A350. With its unrivaled airline background, its experience in technologies and a global logistics network, Lufthansa Technik is truly ready for extra-wide material support.

And with its Design Organization approval (EASA Part 21/J), customers are offered decisive operational advantages with respect to departures or cancellations, as Lufthansa Technik is authorized to develop and approve so-called minor repairs and changes on its own authority. For example, by having Lufthansa Technik assess a damage at a remote location and create a Change/Repair Approval Sheet (CRAS), a customer can avoid an AOG at the non-maintenance base with all the associated complications and expenses. Cabin modifications are another option offered by the design organizations' approval under Part 21/J.
