With over 50 years' experience in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of jet aircraft and with the Lufthansa Group being the launch customer for many new aircraft types of every size, challenges such as the entry into service of the A380, the 747-8, the 787 as well as new regional aircraft types are our daily bread. Long before new aircraft types enter service, Lufthansa Technik has everything in place to support them on a global scale. The technical support of regional aircraft, in particular the newer types from Bombardier and Embraer, is very successful. Lufthansa Technik is increasingly well-positioned in this market through its own component and engine workshops and through its partnership of regional aircraft specialists in the Lufthansa Group.
