Maintenance Specialist for Regional Aircraft Engines

Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey specializes in the maintenance of turbofan and turboprop engines for regional airlines.

The company is authorized by the engine manufacturers General Electric and Pratt & Whitney Canada to conduct all repair and overhaul work on the GE CF34-3, CF34-8, CF34-10, PW100 and PW150 engine models as well as the PW1500G and GE Passport as our latest family members. These engines are used on short and medium-haul jets – Embraer 170/175, Embraer 190/195, Bombardier CRJ200, CRJ700, CRJ900, CRJ1000, ARJ21, Airbus A220, Bombardier Challenger and Global 7500 Business Jet – as well as on turboprop aircraft – Embraer 120, Fokker 50, Dornier 328, ATR-42, ATR-72, MA60, deHavilland DHC-8 Q100, Q200, Q300, and Q400.

Alongside tailored maintenance, repair and overhaul of the engine models listed, including their constituent modules and individual engine components, Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey also offers engineering, on- site support and engine lease services as well as comprehensive logistic support up to and including integrated, comprehensive Total Engine Support (TES^®).

As we are closely connecting Asset Management with Engine Leasing Business we are the perfect partner to support airlines and their operations. Flexible solutions regardless of whether you are looking for a Phase Out Support which could also include a leasing solution to comply with return conditions, or to proceed with a Teardown in order to optimize the asset value at the right time are one of the key factors of our services.

Onsite Services 24/7

Always being focused on the main target to keep the aircraft flying, our Onsite-Service-Team organizes onsite work in every aspect from access to airport to workscope documentation, if necessary. By providing this service we enable you to reduce your aircraft downtimes, number of shop events, number of engine changes and also number of spare engines to an absolute minimum. Within shortest time frames our teams can perform extremely efficient maintenance procedures to minimize the impact on the aircrafts' operation. In order to be close to you, we established a branch in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. From our service centers we offer a wide range of onsite products, even within the shops of our partners BizJet International in Tulsa.

Single Parts Repair

Single parts repair and overhaul operates independently from engine maintenance. Innovative development of tailor-made tooling guarantees continuous optimization and quality increase. Our single parts repair team is happy to assist you with any request regarding repair, overhaul or exchange forengine components / pieceparts. Introducing latest technology plasma equipment has set a milestone for our single parts repair division. Plasma technology allows for restoration of local wear resistance, geometry build-up, and thermal enhancements on aircraft engine parts. We operate a wide range of different coating applications. The thermal spraying process is fully robot-controlled. Most modern laboratory equipment ensures highest quality standards.

Logistic Support

Our experienced Logistic Support offers a wide range of services. The meaning for you is as simple as it gets. Our Logistic Support stands for flexible, carrier independent transport arrangements for all kinds of aviation material as well as fastest worldwide transport arrangements in predefined timeframes via air, road and sea. With approximately 1.000 engine transports, 15.000 packages, 50.000 customs import declarations and over 760.000 kilograms volume shipments per year we are well prepared to find the perfect logistic solution for you.
