Lufthansa Technik Philippines is a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and aviation services provider MacroAsia located at Manila's International Airport. Offering a comprehensive range of MRO services, this company manages the maintenance and engineering requirements of the entire Philippine Airlines fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft. The company also provides line and base maintenance to 24 domestic and international carriers.
In 2004, Lufthansa Technik Philippines became a member of the Lufthansa Technik EPAR (Engine Parts and Accessories Repair) network, specializing in low-pressure turbine shroud repair for the CFM56-3, CFM56-5A and CF6-80 engines to serve Lufthansa Technik as well as third party customers. In cooperation with Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines, the company continuously develops manpower skills and qualifications through EASA Part 66-compliant courses. Lufthansa Technik Philippines holds repair station certificates from the FAA, EASA, ATO and other airworthiness authorities.
