Engine Parts and Accessories Repair (EPAR) is offered as a part of the PowerPlant Services at the Lufthansa Technik facilities, in Hamburg. Through the EPAR product Lufthansa Technik is capable to provide demonstrable cost saving to its customers and longer service life for components.  
A mainstay of the EPAR offerings are the numerous innovative repair procedures, many of which have been developed by Lufthansa Technik engineers. One of the several good examples for repair development is the 'Advanced Recontouring Process' (ARP) used on compressor blades and turbofans.  
Due to long time experience in the field of Power Plant Services Lufthansa Technik decided to bundle its know how in parts and accessories repair into a high end product - EPAR.
