The Engine Tubes Overhaul Center (ETOC), a Lufthansa Technik repair center is based at Berlin Schönefeld Airport. ETOC offers a kit service following the 'ship dirty principle'. Ship dirty enables the customer to send dismantled engine tubes directly, without further inspections.
The whole repair work or modification process ends up with a final pressure test. The kit will than be put together to the customer`s specification and prepared for dispatch.
As a genuine center of excellence the Berlin 'Engine Tubes Overhaul Center' has expanded its in-house capabilities in order to become a full service provider for all engine types serviced by Lufthansa Technik.
